Review of Space Chimps (2008) by Stephen N — 08 May 2009

I didn't have any high expectations when I decided to watch this. I skipped watching it in theaters. I was hesitant to even watch it at the cheapos. For 2 bucks at Blockbuster, I figured, why not? I got nothing better to do on a Friday night.

For being only 80 minutes, the pacing is ok. The animation is not as refined as other CGI kids movies, but it worked mostly well. Voice acting was decent though nothing standout. Plot was cute and had its typical kids movie morals. There were a couple of lines that I thought were actually pretty funny, but they were pretty distant. All in all, not a bad movie, just one that didn't quite make it into orbit.
