This move still shines for its many different reasons.
I often think about this movie and see bits of it in many sci-fi movies of late.
I have seen this move about 3 times and liked it every time.
Just wish there was someone better than Mr Charlton Heston of the NRA to be the lead. Perhaps George Lazanby would have been better.
