Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Mic R — 26 Feb 2011
Well, I've seen enough pop culture references to know what soylent green is but I hadn't seen the movie until tonight. Great snapshot of 1973 futurism, even back then they were predicting climate change from greenhouse gases.
A bit light on action by modern standards but dripping with social comment, it remains surprisingly relevant. Surprised it hasn't been remade from Harry Harrison's novel.
