Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Håvard H — 02 May 2008
It's interesting to watch a movie from 1973 that portrays a future with global warming, over-population and shortage of food. Charlton Heston plays a detective working on a murder case that eventually leads him to a schocking and ugly discovery. Funny to see Heston in a movie with such a distinctly left-wing message.
The movie is a product of it's time, no doubt, and a bit slow in the middle, but overall very watchable.
