Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Gabriel K — 26 Feb 2013

Although the "future New York" created in this movie seems a bit dated, somehow it succeeds in creating gloomy and claustrophobic atmosphere that gets under your skin. I wasn't too impressed by the conclusion, but perhaps the intention was to create a character study rather than a mystery.

Overall though, the movie had a bit too much of 70's paranoia for my taste.
