Review of Southpaw (2015) by Gareth D — 20 Sep 2015
Brilliant entertainment, exactly what you'd expect from Kurt Sutter, violent and emotional. Is it intelligent and cerebral? No. Is it kinda predictable like a modern day Karate Kid or old Kung-fu movie - yes.
Is it incredibly visceral and engaging - yes. Good movie. Good to see McAdams not playing a good girl for once.
