Finally got to see this film. I'm kind of sad that I didn't catch it in theaters. would've been amazing on the big screen.

I'm a fan of underdog stories. I think all sports movies tend to go that way. I love rooting for the underdog, so this movie was reaaaaally great. also, I hadn't read any summaries, so I'd say it's better to go into this movie cold and just enjoy it.

Gyllenhall was amazing. madams was great. who doesn't love Whitaker? (let's just say there's a reason why he took this role.) everyone did a great job acting. I would definitely watch it again. :).
