Review of Southpaw (2015) by Piper O — 23 Nov 2017
Though generic and rather predictable, Southpaw is incredibly well acted and well made. Jake Gyllenhaal, as usual, is the standout here. He gives a solid performance, interacts believably with his costars and never takes away from the movie.
It?s just the script of Southpaw that isn?t one to stand out amongst other sports movies.
