Review of Southpaw (2015) by Fabio V — 10 Feb 2016
Some may call it predictable or clichéd, but I really enjoyed this movie. It will inevitably draw comparisons to Rocky, but it's a much darker movie. I was fully engaged throughout. Maybe I'm just a sucker for boxing movies, Rachel McAdams, and drama involving a father-child relationship, but I thought this was great.
Grade: A.
