Review of Southpaw (2015) by Tracey I — 21 Dec 2015
Although the themes of overcoming obstacles and endurance stand out, what really drives this movie is the outstanding work of gyllenhaal (whose performance in "nightcrawler" I didn't think was that spectacular), his acting range and ability to convey real emotions gave you feeling for the character and made you hope for his success.
