Very inspirational movie... Story of how life can take away all you have on a blink of an eye. If you go done you will be punched harder, until you hit the floor, and then, theres only one way left....
Two thumbs up for Jake G. for transforming into his role and portraying a professional boxer in the most believable way... I'm surprised that his great performance was not recognized by the film festivals. To me, the only downside of Southpaw is it's score, lacking energy and spirit.
