"Southpaw" was an intense movie about a reigning boxer, Billy Hope and his family. Billy was at a press conference following his previous win the night before when unexpectedly his wife, Maureen, was shot and died.
The death of his wife caused unexpected things to happen like losing his daughter to Child Protective Services and getting involved in drugs and alcohol. Billy will do anything it takes to get his daughter back.
The movie shows the struggles he faces while trying to put his life back together.
