Review of Southpaw (2015) by Indie F — 20 Aug 2015
While it's hard to see any boxing film - especially a rags to riches to rags story about a fighter who loses someone he dearly loves - without comparing it to Rocky. In that sense, Southpaw is derivative.
But it is beautifully filmed, has real heart, powerhouse acting, and is captivating to watch.
