Donnie Darko's up-and-coming movie I sat down to watch it with my friends but 30 min in the were all gone... lost interest. It took about an hour just to set up all the Character backgorunds. Despite this, however, I still enjoyed the movie. It had a lot to say about the current political atmosphere and the danger of continuing down this country's dark path of energy policy. Whatsmore, there was some interesting speculation about what would happen if two parallel selves, the same person separated only by time, met eachother and inhabited the same space in the universe... If you liked the writing style of Donnie Darko and the sci-fi speculation in incorporated in that movie then you'll like this one, otherwise, I couldn't recommend it.
