Review of Southern Comfort (1981) by Antti K — 28 Mar 2008
Weekend warriors don't get along with the locals. Always a good premise and the beginning shows promise. Unfortunately most of the movie lacks the tension created by the beginning and found again at the end.
Could have used just a little bit more action. Good performances by Fred Ward, Powers Boothe and even Keith Carradine. Not as good as Deliverance, but quite different.
