Think 'Twilight Zone' with a hard R rating. 'Southbound is a cruel, mean-spirited little flick that works on the strength of its reliance on the seriously strange and twisted, three of the four stories really pop, and unlike most anthology films, the peaks and valleys are a lot less obvious.
..instead, 'Southbound' is one satisfying road trip to hell and back.
