Not the best musical ever, hell certainly not the best Rogers and Hammerstein movie ever, South Pacific seems to have everything going for it, Great scenery, amazing songs, a good story, but seems to get bogged down by the annoying actors (Mitzi Gaynor! Rossano Brazzi!) and the irritating cinematography to make this totally enjoyable.
