Review of Source Code (2011) by Jason C — 22 Mar 2013
Source Code begins promisingly and the sci-fi Groundhog Day (well, eight minutes) set-up is a decent one. Unfortunately, from the moment the grumpy Jeffrey Wright explains the technology behind the mission Gyllenhaal keeps repeating, the film falls apart - it is obvious where the plot is going but the film now makes no sense what-so-ever.
What could have been an enjoyable ride turns into a disaster. As a viewer I hate being treated like an idiot.
