Review of Soul Surfer (2011) by Anna C — 23 May 2012

A very heartbreaking story, mainly because it's true. Just because of this the director should have chosen a different way to tell it, cause like this it seems like a Disney fairy tale. This girl lost an arm eaten by a shark, just when she was beginning racing with surf, but she doesn't stop thinking, she keep on trying until she can surfing again and winning.

A perfect family, parents and brothers always around her and supporting her, the faith in god, the obvious conclusion that there's always something worse, a paradise for living, everything is too beautiful to be real.

But at the end of the movie we actually see frames of the real girl so... I don't know.
