Kinshasa, Zaire, 1974, everyone knows of the big boxing fight between Ali and Foreman, but there was a 3 day music festival featuring African artists and American artists. James Brown, BB King, The Spinners and more flew out to Zaire for the first time to celebrate a 'homecoming' of sorts.
Due to mostly legal reasons, the footage for the film went unedited and unseen for 35 years. Now recovered, edited, and restored, the chance to see a slice of this incredible event, with concert footage, preparations, interviews with performers, Don King, Muhammed Ali, and of course Zaire of 1974.
