Review of Soul Men (2008) by Amy G — 12 Mar 2009
This is a truely rare and great comedy, with the highest talley of the word "mother fucker" I have ever ever seen. The late great Bernie Mac delivers his crowning acheivement in comedy, he was hilarious in all silenders, and when paired with Sameul L.
Jackson, the two shine with great on screen chemistry. This movie was very character driven, with the two leads garning the most attention, but the backing cast was also very talented. Great music sequences here.
Nothing extraordinary about the plot here, but the comedy is so good that the film shines. The world truely lost one of the comedic legends of our time, and sadly the world is now a little less funny, rest in peace Bernie Mac, you will be missed.
This is your tour-de-force.
