Review of Soul Men (2008) by Gary W — 25 Dec 2011
Another great comedy peopled by foul-mouthed people doing hilarious things. That this is highly populated by the word "fuck" or its numerous variations should come as no surprise as Samuel L.
Jackson, a man whose entire career is based on fantastic delivery of the word "fuck" and it numerous variations, co-stars. It is great to see Bernie Mac in this as he has been forced to tone it down in other "family" films he's been in of late ("Transformers"), and he goes to town.
Featuring great music and some amazing singing and dancing by the two stars, this film barely kept me in my seat, I was ready to dance in the aisles. Loved it. Saw it right after "Role Models" and I must say it was a great day at the movies!
