Fatih Akin is not about comedy, but when he explores this arena in Soul Kitchen, the result is a fantastic comedy that you won't be bored to watch for more than once even and each time you'd laugh and think: oh gush, I've never laughed this much in a long time!
Soul Kitchen is the story of love in all its shapes and forms, it's quirky and loaded with colorful souls. It's about cuisine, music, love, brotherhood, friendship, hope, despair and of course back pain ! Fathi Akin has managed to put all this in the story line keeping it well apart from a cliche comedy.
