It's easy to paint this movie as a rebuke of capitalism in general, but the anvilicious way in which it does so is so jarring that it took me out of the movie. It's not that I didn't sympathize with the message; it was that it was done so clumsily as to seem amateurish at best.

It felt like two movies mashed together into one, and like the end result of this movie, something that you really can't bear to remember, because it's just too terrible to think about.
