Sorority Row is one of those rare slashers that come along and have some redeeming factors for such a fast- paced film with fun characters. This is actually a remake that does the original justice. Sure Sorority Row is not a masterpiece, it may not even pass for being a good film, but it is a fun slasher that is very reminiscent of the 80's era of horror films.
The characters each have their own distinct personality, but it does try to imitate much greater slasher flicks such as I Know What You Did Last Summer and Scream. The film may not bring anything new or groundbreaking to the table but it does its job in being an entertaining little horror flick.
I would not mind seeing a sequel, Sorority Row is a funny, fast-paced, and fun ride. (B-) Recommended for fans of this genre.
