Fantastic storytelling and Oscar worthy performances take Sophie's Choice to great heights. Meryl Streep is one of the best actresses of all time, and her character of Sophie is one of Streep's greatest creations.
Peter MacNicol and Kevin Kline also do a great job here. See this movie. It's a little slow going in, but by the end, you're going to be mesmerized by the big whooper of an ending. I dare you to fall asleep in the last 30 minutes.
