Meryl Streep is arguably the greatest actress of all-time as she has been nominated for Best Actress 11 times; her only win in that category is for this film (she has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress three times, one win for a grand total of 14 nominations, two wins).
Academy Award winner Kevin Kline gives a good performance in his debut.
