Grab the tissues, this movie will break your heart. One of the saddest movie of all time. Streep's and Kline's best performance ever! With all that Streep has done after this, it will still remain one of her best characters and films of all times.
The entire film (acting and technical) is amazing. I don't think you can find a single flaw. Alan J. Pakula's direction is stunning. If you haven't seen this movie, GO GET IT AND WATCH IT.
If you think you have seen movies, this one is in one of those completley different playing fields.
