Sophie's Choice is a heartbreaking, absorbing and memorable experience, featuring William Styron's cleverly adapted screenplay, and bolstered by Meryl Streep's masterful interpretation as Sophie Zawistowska.
Because, in Sophie's Choice, Streep isn't acting, she's living it. She is genuine, compelling, incredibly natural, sometimes sexy and funny, and sometimes moving and affecting, in one of the greatest performances of all times.
