Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Benjamin H — 09 Jan 2008
An excellent police procedural set during WWII. The interrogation scenes are particularly effective, which is in no small part because they were using the actual transcripts. And if seeing the re-creation of someone fighting for their life in the face of evil isn't haunting enough, well the last scene will certainly stay with you a while.
