Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Eric S — 14 May 2008
This is true-story account is truly a masterpiece. German-language film is of the most intense you'll ever watch as a young girl, who's an anti-Nazi activist, spends her final days in 1943, at a Nazi dentention center, where she's constantly interrogated for high treason.
The excellent job of the cast, the spell-binding direction, and the breath-taking dialogue propel this film to the extreme. Film proves that Scholl was a true heroine in her days.
