Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Rasmus B — 06 Dec 2007
Swedish director Roy Anderssons masterpiece. Every single scene is like a piece of art, Roy never moves the camera. Also most of the actors were picked from the street, it's so good to see a movie with faces you've never seen.
The movie is about spiritual decay in society, traffic jams, lonelyness, madness and the relentless search for something to sell, with a few extra zeroes attached to it.
