Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Conrad M — 25 Jan 2008
-the more I think about this film the more I love it. this is a beautiful "poem film". the best way I can describe this film is like if terry gilliam did "Death of a Salesman" with some truley lynchian elements as a really really dark comedy.
kind of a mind fuck (but you kind of gradually realize that you don't know whats going on- kind of like barton fink). however, I really love movies that are purposely a little vauge so the viewer can kind of come up with their own interpretation (to some extent), so this really isn't for everyone.
but yeah, really want to watch it again.
