Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Pat O — 02 Nov 2008
Well, this is certainly a very odd and different film. Very creative, there's not really much happening as far as the plot goes, it almost plays out like a bunch of short stories that are somehow linked.
Some pretty hilariou moments throughout, some great highlights include the moving house, the group whipping each other, and of course, the blindfolded girl. Great set ups for each scene, technically speaking, the framing was well placed considering the camera never really moves in this film.
Well worth seeing just to watch something new and creative.
