Review of Song of the South (1946) by Dawn H — 26 Nov 2009
I have seen this movie once. While I can understand that some may see it as racist, just remember that Uncle Remus is the great philosopher in the movie. His stories have great lessons for the young and young at heart. I am sorry that this historic movie not available on DVD (at least not in the US).
Oh, and if this movie was so bad, why do so many queue up at Splash Mountain (at the Disney parks) for a Zippity Do Da time?
