To understand why we are where we are, you must know where we have been. This is a document of the time and the attitudes of the people. It should be celebrated for the fact that we have come as far as we have.
Racism still exist, I am not naive, but I really don't see what the big deal is. It is a good movie, and has an overall positive message. Maybe its just me, but I think people are too sensitive...
