"Son of Saul" | D+ | If you don't quite comprehend the brutality, repulsion and horror of the Holocaust, this film is for you. Otherwise, skip this overrated gore-gy. Oddly, annoyingly claustrophobic direction, an obsession with repulsion, a bizarrely implausible script and a ridiculous ending add to the repulsive, depressing mess.
I was already repulsed by the Holocaust. Now I am repulsed by the Holocaust AND this film.
