To say it is wonderful is not to say it isn't totally devastating. You are so intimate and close to what is happening, it was, for me, the most emotionally involving film I have ever seen, From years of studying this period in history, it was the first time I felt that a film has come close to embodying some of the poignantly philosophical and abstract survivors accounts that I have read.
I felt it was expert film making. Beautifully done, beautifully acted, beautifully harrowing.
