Review of Son of Rambow (2007) by E C — 28 Oct 2009
Son Of Rambow suceeds in what many 'kids' films fail to do, which is entertain the whole family.
The movie is hillarious, well written, and heartwarming all the way through.
The movie follows two kids who couldn't be more opposite.
Gentle, innocent Will, and bad boy Lee.
Will volunteers to help out Lee by being a stuntman for his movie.
Before no time at all, the two are friends, and are having great fun making their film: Son Of Rambow.
Of course, no movie would be complete without a bump in the road. This comes in the form of Dider, a French exchange student, who steals the spotlight in the film.
Lee gets jealous and in the end Will edits the film so that it's just for him and Lee.
The ending is funny and heartwarming, as is most of the movie.
Very original.
