Review of Son of Godzilla (1967) by Jason H — 20 Jul 2009

Oh Ishiro Honda, where have you gone? Jun Fukada can't be the one to blame for this, but the absence of director Honda is felt here in the first Godzilla film to be aimed almost exclusively towards children.

So much so that we get a Baby Godzilla. I wont go into the intricate problem I have with this film but needless to say it is one of the less effective and one of my least favorite of the series. For children and genre fans only.
