Review of Son of a Gun (2014) by Richard S — 04 Jul 2015
Australian cinema has produced some really decent crime thrillers and this is another to add to the list. It's quite a different role for Ewan McGregor but he excels in his role as manipulative hardened criminal.
It's a well paced and exciting thriller and the 2 leads play off each other perfectly. Part prison escape movie, part heist movie with a doomed love story thrown in for good measure.
