Son in Law isn't awful, it's got some funny moments actually, but Pauly Shore is an insufferable prick. It's impossible to like this guy, and after half an hour anything funny about his character has worn itself out.
It has its guilty moments where a laugh or smile sneak in, but overall it's slight and disposable.
