Review of Somewhere in Time (1980) by Mariann S — 26 May 2008
Bid Time Return is one of Richard Matheson's best works, I think, and this movie is very good. It doesn't stick completely with the book, but the choices are valid. Jane Seymour is radiant (imagine), Christopher Reeve is a little stiff, but overall this is a magic movie.
And John Barry's score is gorgeous.
