This is Sofia Coppola at her best. Quiet, meditative, funny. I really enjoy the film for the most part. I felt Elle Fanning was tremendous as Chloe, out acting her co-star Stephan Dorff. In a lot of ways this film echos points and themes in Lost in Translation, but with the shift to a male and father point of view adds new material to examine.
And while for the most part the film was enjoyable, the ending felt tacked on and hackneyed.
