I feel as if this film should be called "Waiting." The usual Sofia Coppola minimalistic storytelling style works for the first half of this film in which we meet a lonely successful actor, but the movie continues with this ongoing them of nothingness.
The film becomes tedious and hard to enjoy. Some people find pleasure in watching rich people waste away their days in hotels and exotic locations, so if you find yourself lumped into this group then you will enjoy the slow yet artistically championed "Somewhere.
".
