The story consists of Hollywood actor who's hedonistic lifestyle is put into perspective by spending time with his adolescent daughter. It was not a plot that is immediately involving and empathy with the lead was not particularly easy.
Sofia Coppola's direction has an great immediacy and the popular culture references work well.
