Review of Somewhere (2010) by Bamafalstaff — 27 May 2011
It will be hard to find a duller picture. Agonizingly long, silent scenes that only bad, self-important, independent films can produce (the opening is a car going in a circle for what seems to be 3-5 minutes; a scene watching the young girl figure skating for the duration of an entire song; and later a scene literally watching plaster dry).
If you're interesting in watching a film star wallow in self-pity without much substance or story, this may be your film.
