Review of Something's Gotta Give (2003) by Nicole S — 14 Feb 2012
Somethings Gotta Give does a great job portraying a woman in menopause and a guy who is 63 but acts 23. Diane Keaton did an excellent job as "the dumb girl who doesn't get it". I love the way the movie incorporated teenage "crush" behavior, with the both of them anxiously waiting to see what the other will type.
I also think the accuracy of the conversation was great. Their messages to each other were funny, cute, and there was a lot of them. Then, after they broke up the messages got slow to only like 5 messages total.
It was also great how Keaton showed the actions of a girl reacting to "his" messages. A must see!!!
