Review of Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983) by Tristan P — 20 Apr 2011
Renegade carnival invades a town, entities feed on envy, sorrows, despair and regret. Yes that is how they do it, and we are all too willing to give it to them. Blame lies only within. I love how the movie, the author and filmmakers give the antidote: positivity defeats this evil hall of mirrors.
The movie has truth and wisdom and like many such things, isn't remembered for it. Early score by James Horner is brilliant.
