Awesome movie. Although Dr. Blalock wanted to help Vivien out, given the time in history he couldn't. Mos Def and Alan Rickman did a terrific job portraying Vivien and Dr. Blalock. With all the bad things going on in the world and how race is still an issue, it's contributions like these that should be looked upon, not the negative.
